A 17-year-old youth has been airlifted to hospital with a broken leg and possible head injuries after a quad bike flipped on a property north of Brisbane.
A spokesman for the Energex Community Rescue Helicopter said the accident happened around 11am (AEST) near Conondale, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.The helicopter flew a paramedic to the property, where the teenager was stabilised before being airlifted to the Nambour General Hospital.
His condition was described as stable.
