Sunrise Telecom names new CEO

Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal

Sunrise Telecom Inc. named Paul A. Marshall as its new chief executive officer on Wednesday.

Marshall co-founded San Jose-based Sunrise (Pinksheets: SRTI.PK), and was its chief operating officer and vice president of marketing.

He succeeds Paul Chang, who has resigned his posts as president, CEO and chairman.

Chang will remain as technology advisor at the company, responsible for overseeing its worldwide R&D and product development efforts.

The multimedia test equipment maker was delisted by Nasdaq in December because it couldn't file its quarterly financial reports on time.

The company said at the time it was investigating issues and transactions at Sunrise Telecom Korea.
