New York, Feb 8: American golfer Tiger Woods could make a return to competitive golf in a months' time at the Tavinstock Cup in Isleworth, Florida.

Woods will enter the Tavinstock Cup, which pits pro golfers from the posh Isleworth Golf and Country Club against the neighboring Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, TMZ reports.

The tournament does not appear on the PGA Tour calendar, but often draws top golfers and carries a purse of over 3.5 million dollars.

It is believed that the event would be Woods' first golf appearance since the World No.1 announced he was taking an indefinite break from professional golf after admitting infidelity following a scandal that linked him to as many as 18 mistresses.

The billionaire sportsman withdrew from public scene after the storm broke out and was reported to have completed a six-week rehabilitation for sexual addiction.

The Tavinstock Cup takes place March 22 and 23, and after he plays there, Woods will head to Georgia to prepare for the Masters.
